Understanding My Integrative Approach
Hello, and welcome. I am a qualified integrative counsellor and the founder
of The Keyes Space. My practice is built on the belief that therapy should adapt
to the person, rather than forcing the person to adapt to a specific theory.
My professional training allows me to draw from various counselling
traditions. By looking at how your past experiences shape present patterns,
while remaining deeply anchored in supporting your immediate, day-to-day well-being,
we create an adaptable pathway toward healing and self-discovery.
Whether you are dealing with anxiety, navigating a life transition,
processing loss, or simply looking to understand yourself better,
I am here to walk alongside you.
If you’ve spent years holding things together, masking how you really feel,
or carrying experiences you’ve never said out loud, you deserve a space where
you don’t have to perform.I’m down to earth, open, and real.
I show up as a human being — warm, steady, and honest.
My life hasn’t been polished, and I don’t expect yours to be. I don’t flinch at the messy,
complicated parts of someone’s story, that means you don’t have to hide yours.
My work is non judgemental, so swear, cry, freeze, ramble,
or sit in silence — that’s all welcome. You don’t have to apologise for your feelings here.
Some of the most powerful moments in therapy happen when
someone realises they don’t have to hold everything alone anymore — when
a secret that’s been carried for years is finally spoken, or when a client looks up
after a tear and sees I’m right there with them.
I’m here to help you make sense of your inner world with compassion,
clarity, and honesty. You don’t have to be perfect or put together.
You just have to show up as you are.
